My stay at Nikko was a mix of excellent interior design and rude service. The spacious rooms with modern features were a delight, but the unprofessional behavior of some staff members put a damper on the experience. The location was convenient for exploring the main town area and accessing transportation easily, yet the dining options left much to be desired with high prices for underwhelming food.

The hotel offers fantastic rooms with soft comfortable beds, large Sony Bravia flat screens, and a fancy bathroom, although I had to request a new room due to a cigarette smoke smell. The service was somewhat slow, lacking English communication, but the location is central and near HongQiao airport. The dining options are basic, with some disappointment in western standards, yet incredibly affordable. A solid choice for spacious, five-star standard accommodations.
